Forum Alentours - Co-Production Meeting of the Rhine Region 2023

This year’s Forum Alentours – Rendez-vous de la coproduction Rhénane brought nearly 300 participants from over 5 border countries to Strasbourg.

As in previous years, the Alentours Forum attracted a large number of professionals. More than ever, the theme of cross-border co-production was the focus of 5 panels moderated by professionals from the film and audiovisual industries.

Once again this year, the Alentours Forum was also a forum for exchange and networking: over 250 One-to-One meetings took place at Le Maillon, providing participants with an opportunity to discuss their current projects, as well as to build and extend their international network.

Pitch sessions for projects in development are also a highlight of the Forum. During this 2023 edition, 35 projects were pitched in front of an audience of professionals. For 8 of them, a major challenge was to convince a cross-border jury and win the CinEuro Award! Participants were also able to attend the screening of the documentary Black Mambas (2022), a project pitched at the 2017 edition of Forum Alentours and brought to fruition by Lena Karbe and Jan Vasak, present this year for the presentation.
