FilmCommission Baden-Baden/Karlsruhe

The FilmCommission Baden-Baden/Karlsruhe was founded in 2008 with the support of Südwestrundfunk (SWR) Baden-Baden. It is part of the Baden-Baden Kur & Tourismus GmbH. FC Baden-Baden/Karlsruhe is one of eight Film Commissions in Baden-Württemberg initiated, supported and promoted by MFG Filmförderung BW. It is the contact for the Baden-Baden/Karlsruhe region: the independent cities of Baden-Baden, Karlsruhe and Pforzheim; the districts of Rastatt, Karlsruhe, Enzkreis, Freudenstadt and Calw. The partner for the urban area of Karlsruhe is the Filmboard Karlsruhe.

Areas of activity are :

• Mediation between filmmakers and regional service providers
• Authorities and experts from all fields
• Assistance in finding film locations, crew and service providers
• Support in obtaining filming permits
• Services (accommodations and supplies for film crews)
• Free, individual consulting

Events:

• Annual industry get-together as part of the Baden-Baden Television Film Festival
• 2 – 3 times a year Filmstammtisch (together with Filmverband Südwest) for networking of regional filmmakers
