Eligibility requirements :

The work must either:
– be mostly or entirely animated
– have a major virtual filming part or demonstrate visual effects

An application consultation at least 14 days before submission is mandatory.

A prerequisite for funding is the voluntary commitment to comply with the criteria “Ecological Minimum Standards for German Cinema, TV and Online/VoD Productions” in the version current at the respective submission date, which is available for download on the MFG homepage.
