Nancy International Film Festival

A general festival (1st edition in 1995) run by the Aye Aye VO association / Festival International du Film de Nancy welcomes an international program and, at each edition, puts the spotlight on cross-border production through the programming of short films in competition produced and shot in this region: Grande Région programming. For many years now, the Festival International du Film de Nancy has also programmed feature-length films, both fiction and documentary, produced and shot in the Grand Est region, or even the wider region.
Throughout the year, the association also carries out image education initiatives for a wide range of audiences of all ages. She is a regular contributor to schools.

Short Screens

Short Screens

Since 2009, Short Screens has been offering thematic screenings of short films on the big screen in the heart of Europe’s capital, or occasionally in the provinces, or outside Belgium’s borders (Paris, Barcelona).
Short Screens has already had the pleasure of showing over 700 short films, with an eclectic program in terms of both genre and form; a thematic selection of films from yesterday and today, the fruit of the creativity of Belgian and foreign auteurs. With a host of guests (filmmakers, actors, producers) who regularly drop in to chat with the public after the screenings.
Short Screens also regularly organizes screenings of radio documentaries, live music, singing, readings and storytelling, as well as ciné concerts.
And since 2018, Short Screens has been organizing its mini-festival at the end of August, “Les Shorts d’été”.

La Quadrature du Cercle

La Quadrature du Cercle is a network of cinema programmers working in the Belgian non-profit sector, in Brussels and Wallonia.
Today, the network brings together some 50 members active in cultural centers, local cinemas, arthouse cinemas, film clubs, media education associations, etc.
In total, La Quadrature du Cercle members program just over 5,000 screenings and attract over 200,000 spectators a year. Every year, La Quadrature du Cercle coordinates La Tournée des Magritte du Cinéma, the Fête de la FWB/volet cinéma and the “CinéMômes” festival for young audiences.

Wallonie-Bruxelles Images

Created in 1984, Wallonie Bruxelles Images (WBImages) is the official agency for the promotion of the audiovisual sector of the Wallonia Brussels Federation abroad.

Wallonie Bruxelles Images is co-financed and co-managed by the Centre du Cinéma et de l’Audiovisuel and Wallonie Bruxelles International.

Wallonie Bruxelles Images aims at :

  • promoting the works of Wallonia Brussels in foreign festivals and markets;
  • facilitating the access of Wallonia Brussels professionals to the various audiovisual markets and to help them promote and sell their productions on the international markets;
  • being an information office for producers and exporters operating in Wallonia Brussels as well as for buyers, distributors and international festivals.
